Buy Local, Buy Hand Made GIVEAWAY- Time's Up! Winner is-- #5-

My random number generator (I asked my daughter, with her having NO idea why I was asking, to pick a number between 1 and 6.... LOL... is that random enough?) and the winning comment is #5. Maybe one day I'll have 1000 comments like other blogs. ;)

I appreciate everyone who went and checked out the EagerMind website and ordered ABC magnets. The ones I ordered came in Friday, and they are everything I expected them to be and more. I can't wait to see my daughters playing with them- alas, I must, because they are going in the Cmas stockings!

Go to Eagermind today and purchase a set of these adorable ABC magnets for the preschoolers in your life- they are 10% off the first set (up to 60% off 10 sets). The lady who designed these magnets has been a huge blessing in my life-- she's smart, sassy, and a real prayer warrior. This lady will lay hands and pray in the middle of Walmart, and ask for healing, and believes it will happen. She's faithful. And way back when we were down, she arranged a mercy drop for us-- delivering gifts and gift cards at a time when we thought we would never make it through Christmas.

Leave a comment sharing with everyone a person in your life who has stood out- you may not see him/her often, but knowing this person has left an impact. I'll pick one person who comments to receive either an uppercase or lowercase set- the winner gets to choose. I'll close the contest on Friday and announce a winner on Saturday. **For a second entry** post a link to my contest on your blog and come back and leave another comment, with the URL to your blog in the comments section.

The people who were the biggest blessing in my life were the people who, over the phone & the 'net, gave me all the encouragement and advice I needed to successfully nurse my preemie son after he spent 7 wks in the NICU and only nursed once in that time. He came home wanting bottles, and it took 5 weeks home before he was nursing completely, but he then went on to nurse for over 3 years. I cannot thank those ladies enough. So, thank you Kg, Amy & Donna. You guys made a world of difference in my life and my son's. I still tear up thinking of the blessing you guys were.

Okay, I will cheesily claim my husband as the person whom I've known who's had a great impact on me. There are many others, but, above all, he's walked with me through the valleys and to the mountain tops and (mostly) understood and (always) supported me the entire way.

I'll hopefully remember to put up a link tomorrow. I don't want to bury today's Advent Conspiracy post quite yet.

(And, don't worry, I'll save you the shipping and pick these up at the BFM, if I happen to win. :-)

We used to live in Austin, before moving back to our home state of CA, so I'll choose someone from TX. Our ten months there were surpassingly difficult, but one family - from day one - stood next to us, befriended us (even knowing we were going to be moving away), helped us out. I don't think we could have survived our time without their prayers, their friendship, and their playdates.
And God is good - he gives us those little angels everywhere we go!
Blessings!
