Fastest, easiest way to peel eggs.

Every few months someone asks how to peel eggs perfectly.

The other day I discovered an amazing, quick, and mess free way. By accident.

I was about to start doing the eggs when John asked if he could cut the watermelon. I got out the big knife and started to sharpen it - I learned the best thing you can do for your knives is to sharpen them before each and every use. Jeff put an egg on the cutting board and said "Go"... he was teasing. I decided to try it. And man oh man. It worked so well that I made him get his camera so that I could tell you all about it.

Just cut in half, use a spoon to loosen the egg from the shell (I mentioned that method before) and the shell just pops off the egg.

You end up with a bowl of perfect egg halves, and a bowl of perfect half shells:

Try it! It was so fast and easy that I had a dozen eggs done in only a few minutes.
I didn't have to rinse the eggs to get small fragments of shell off; although there were a few fragments, I could scrape them with the spoon.
